This is 's OC Blossom Queen. I drew this for my art trade with her! The one thing that I didn't know how to do was Blossom Queen's kimono... I think I'm getting better at digital art though!!! I have had a lot of inspiration from a few Deviants on here but yea I'm also trying to find my own style. Overall though I think this was a huge success! I can't wait to try something else out also for those of you who want to see WIPs check out my facebook page: [link] though I don't always have wips I will have them there instead of on here
Materials Used: Photoshop CS6 LaPazz Tablet MacBook Pro
I'm very sorry that I'm this late, I was very busy at university!
First of all I think that you're on a very good way to your own unique style!
I like that you varied the width of your outlines, it makes the whole picture more lively and interesting to look at. However that sometimes seems a bit "random", e.g. I think that the outlines of the umberella top are far too thick compared to the rest. A good thing to keep in mind about outlines is that a good place for thicker outlines is where shadows will be in your colouring. Sometimes the most outside lines (those that seperate the character from the background) are overall slightly thicker than the rest. Not a must-do though. I'd say just experiment with that, until you find something that works for you. Trial and error is the best way to go there!
Your drawing is very clean, with clean lines and a fitting clean colouring. I don't know how far you want to go with colouring (also in regard to details), but you could try out using one or two more shades, for example for her eyes, or simply a part of your picture you want to stand out.
All in all it's a really well executed and cute drawing, well done!
PS: Please keep in mind that all of the above is only my own opinion, so you're free to disagree with everything I said of course!
